The RNZRSA is a registered charity wholly engaged in the support of NZ military veterans, Commonwealth veterans domiciled in NZ, and their families. The RSA was formed in New Zealand in 1916 by returning Anzacs during World War One to provide support and comfort for service men and women and their families.
The National Office is the administrative core of the RNZRSA, providing direction, advice and support to individual RSAs and to veterans. The National office is responsible for the provision of IT systems, business processes and other administrative functions mainly for RNZRSA; these tools, some of which are used by RSAs, include:
  • Microsoft systems with best of breed applications
  • Dynamics 365
  • Office 365
  • MYOB
The Royal New Zealand Returned and Services Association (RNZRSA) Business Systems Upgrade project (BSUP) is an inhouse project of the RNZRSA National Office. The project team is tasked with updating and improving the RNZRSA business support tools which are required to deliver the RNZRSA business strategy and plan.
The project will be delivered incrementally; modules include:
  • CRM upgrade and development
  • Website redevelopment
  • Donations management portal
  • Membership management portal
  • Case management system
  • Automation of data transfer and other administration tasks
The timeline of this project is expected to extend into 2023. The RNZRSA National Office seeks partnership proposals from qualified organisations to deliver the two parts of module 1, the CRM upgrade and development:

1. Upgrade of the current ‘On-premise’ Dynamics 365 CRM to a current version using a Software as a Service (SaaS) licencing and delivery model. Supply that service into and throughout BAU.

2. Development of the data repository to accommodate the wider data set that will result from the implementation of the other planned project modules.

RNZRSA seek a partnership arrangement with a local organisation who are able to support the RNZRSA business systems and are also able to offer advice on best approach, value for money and future proofing.
